Karen is, in my opinion, the easiest photographer to work with for any occasion. She's very skilled at creating a relaxed environment for her subjects, even those with extreme stage fright. She also works well with troublesome animals who won't sit still! :) Her photos clearly demonstrate her talent for capturing beauty and utilizing her creativity to the fullest, and I highly recommend her for any photography needs.

We have been utilizing Karen's photography services for years. She shot our wedding for us a few years ago. Karen captured a personal element in her photos that we hadn't seen from other photographers. We still get comments on how much people admire her work.

Karen is not only an incredibly talented professional, but she makes people look really damn good. I'm a pretty average-looking 30-something woman, a weekend warrior, and not in exactly the best shape. The photos she took made me feel like I was on top of the world and like I could take on any NHL player out there! (Warning: Do not try this at home. Photographer and testimonial-writer assume no responsibility for personal injury should you decide to take on an NHL player.) Karen is extremely fun to work with and it's obvious that she takes pride and joy in her work. When she delivered the photos from our shoot to me, I'm not sure who had the bigger smile on their face: me or her.

"I hadn't even met Karen before and she was willing to spend TWO DAYS with our crazy families, photographing our ceremony, dinner, and then the reception the following day. That takes photographer guts, creativity, and an enormous amount of perseverance.
I imagine our wedding was a difficult one to photograph because events were happening all over the place: trivia contest, cake decorating in different rooms of the house, everyone packed into a living room for the ceremony, and Karen had an AMAZING eye for where to be when! She always seemed to be right where the action was and got so many amazing shots. Will and I just kept scrolling through them, thrilled to remember everything that happened.
She also has an amazing ability to capture human emotions and produce fabulous portraits, all just by catching someone at the right picosecond. The collection of our photos helps us feel we're reliving the whole thing and remember everyone who was there. She was careful to get a shot of every guest and every interesting thing that happened.
Not to mention she is sweet, funny, and so easy to hang out with. I would recommend her to any human and any human event that requires photography, whole-heartedly."
